SLOW GO

From 7th November to 10th January 2010 Charlotta Eidenskog, Anna-Karin Arvidsson and Linda Rothstein had an exhibition at Växjö Konsthall.

In the exhibition SLOW GO we have allowed familiar objects such as swings and balls to move in to a cultural establishment, a place where they would typically not be seen. What happens when you remove an object from its normal surroundings? Do the new surroundings affect the way in which visitors act and interact? These are some examples of the questions that interest us.

We wanted to activate the visitor and allow them to experience colour and form with multiple senses. In the exhibition the visitor can physically touch and participate, therefore becoming a part of the exhibition. 

The artists behind SLOW GO are Anna-Karin Arvidsson, Charlotta Eidenskog and Linda Rothstein.
